Todd and I just booked our plane tickets to Colorado. We leave Orange County, CA on Thursday May 28th and fly direct to Denver, CO. From Denver we will rent a car and drive about 3 hours to Salida.  Our plan is to hold one last moving sale for Fred and pack up all his belongings. His friend Jerry is having a few sales at the apt prior to us arriving to sell off the furniture.  Dad is reluctantly selling his beloved Jeep Cherokee and we’re hoping it will sell prior to our arrival to CO.  If it doesn’t then we will drive the jeep to CA and try to sell it for him.

I’m looking forward to seeing Salida again, I visited Dad and Salida back in August of 2007. It really is a quaint, charming, artsy little town. I was struck by the charming architecture and took a some photos on one of the walks, my dad and I took around the neighborhood on my last visit.
