Radiation, not a cure but could help.

I just spoke to both my father and aunt Eleanor. Today they were productive in running errands and meeting with a radiation doctor in Sarasota, Dr. Patrice (he treated my father years ago).
The good news is radiation is scheduled to begin in a few weeks. 5 days a week for 3 weeks= 15 sessions. Transportation is provided which is huge, considering my father is having difficulty with his vision. These treatments are by no mean a cure but should aid the visual damage from progressing further and help to stop the nose bleeds he seems to suffer from, very regularly.

Dad seemed tired and worn out as he should it was big day 10am-3pm, Eleanor was driving him around town; to the bank, post office, doctor and a frozen yogurt treat to end the day.

will be returning to Sarasota and remain until at least the 30th– maybe longer. You have your dad’s POA –take it with you to Salida. Will look at trust when I get back and do some paperwork to arrange your ability to sign without me–if I am on any paperwork. May be your co trustee of your dad’s trust.
Will talk to Fred today. Last I spoke to him Friday or Saturday. Knew he was going into see the radiologist and I know that it is a delay and not generally a cure. Don’t know what he knew about it.
Not a great thing to think about. But we move ahead and do what we need to do. Will try to see you in Colorado.
