The best shops are the ones you stumble upon while walking in the downtown section of Palm Springs. Once you weed through the tacky tourist stuff, you’ll find a few gems. Johannes Restaurant serving an eclectic mix of cocktails and food for a fabulous dinner. Right in downtown, walk from Korakia, Del Marcos or Viceroy Hotels.

Workshop Kitchen + Bar, open for brunch, lunch, dinner. Palm Springs latest gem in the heart of the Uptown Design District. Spencer’s Restaurant, open for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Serving American Cuisine with an Asian pacific influence. Nestled at the base of the San Jacinto Mountains and offers inside/outside seating. Walking distance from Korakia, Del Marcos or Viceroy Hotels.

Citron Restaurant and Bar at The Viceroy. Fabulously chic and very LA. walking distance to Korakia.

Melvyn’s Lounge, an old Hollywood haunting ground. You can see vintage photos of the owner, Melvyn hanging on the wall with decades of actors. They serve a stiff drink and on the weekend have live piano. (it’s small and gets crowded but enjoy the people watching)

SPAS

The Viceroy offers a full service spa and wellness center; Estrella, walking distance to Korakia.
Try their facial or head to toe indulgence massage.
